I
Proposed Soil Transport&Disposal Workplan
Western Stone Products,Tracy Facility
Project No. W0195.00
Page 2
• After processing the soil through the asphalt batch plant at WSP's Hughson facility it is
anticipated that the soil will contain nondetectable levels of BTEX.
• The soil will be used as r
oadbase meaningthat it will be laced as AB
p subbase beneath
asphalt pavement that is three to four inches thick.
• The soil will be stored at the WSP Hughson plant temporarily. The soil will be
- -underlain-and-covered by visqueen;s40`ml'thickness, 'to'ensure that contamination of
rainwater or clean soil will be prevented.
• WSP can provide the RWQCB with the location where the soil will be used as roadbase.
• The asphalt produced by WSP meets all of the California Department of Transportation
standards and is in compliance with the maximum allowable concentrations of BTEX.
We hope that this will provide you with all the necessary information necessary for the RWQCB
to approve the transport and disposal of soil at WSP's Tracy facility. We appreciate your
prompt attention on this matter.
