Monitoring wells
MW1, MW2, MW3 and MW4 were monitored for depth to groundwater, and downgradient
wells MW3 and MW4 were purged and sampled. Wells MW1, MW2, and MW3 were also
monitored for drawdown during final pumping (October 9, 1992) of the excavation. Well MW4,
which was destroyed during excavation, was properly abandoned under permit from San Joaquin
County Public Health Services. All groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum
hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHD), and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX).
QR 1 02592.FNL
