3.2 Description of All Past On-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below Ground Sources of Contamination Identified at the Project Site: Past on-site potentials for contamination are low. The property has been used for agricultural purposes for more than 10 years. Historically the vineyard has been treated with Carbaryl, Furadan, Zinc Phosphide and Paraquat to name a few of the chemicals used. (See permit number 39-07-3904298 for all pesticides used at the project site, located in Appendix). Historically there have been no underground storage tanks. The owner has no knowledge of above ground storage of chemicals on the subject parcel. The Mokelumne River borders the north and east property lines of subject parcel. { 3.3 Description of All Current On-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below Ground Sources of Contamination Identified at the Project Site: Presently there are no underground storage tanks on the property and visual inspection slid not produce any evidence of buried containers, as well as no odors that would be associated with buried chemical tanks. There are no storage tanks above ground. There are no above ground fuel tanks on the site. On-site storm water is contained on -site and dissipates through either percolation or evaporation. The Mokelumne River borders the north and east property lines of subject parcel. 3.4 Description of All Past Off-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below Ground Sources of Contamination Identified in the Area of the Project Site: Past off-site potential M for contamination is Iow. The subject parcel is located in agricultural community. The Mokelumne River borders the north and east property lines of subject parcel. 3.5 Description of all Present Off-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below Ground Sources of Contamination Identified in the Area of the Project Site: Present off- site ffsite potential for contamination is low. There is no knowledge of below ground sources of contamination in the area of the project site that has or may impact the project site. The Mokelumne River borders the north and east property lines of subject parcel. A 4,0 EVALUATION OF PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION IDENTIFIED AT OR NEAR THE SITE AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FURTHER ACTION: 4.1 Evaluation of Each Potential and/or Known Source of Contamination Identified for any Real and/or Potential Threat to Human Health and the Environment: The depth to ground water in this area is approximately 10 feet. Due to this depth, any pesticides, insecticides, and fertilizers used on the property in the past or present would have a minimal ' impact to the ground water. 5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS SECTION: 5.1 Discussion of the Above Evaluation: There are no chemical containers for fuel storage tanks on this site; thus the potential for contamination is low. As was stated above, any pesticides, insecticides, and fertilizers used on the site do not pose any significant potential for contamination to the project site, and no mitigation measures are recommended. 2 c:1071=Surface and Subsurface October, 2007
