BUILDING PERMIT: Submit an 'Application - AG or Garage Building Permit.- <br /> (Development Title Section 9-884) <br /> b. APPROVED USE: This approval is for a 40-dog breeding and training kennel, as <br /> proposed and as shown on the pian submitted March 25, 1996. <br /> C. BUSINESS LICENSE: The applicant shall secure an approved Business License prior <br /> to the initiation of the use. The Business License can be obtained concurrently with the <br /> Building Permit application. (County Ordinance Code Section 7-1000) <br /> i <br /> d. ANIMAL REGULATIONS: The following animal regulations apply: <br /> (1) Dog runs are not permitted in front yards, street side yards, or in front of main <br /> buildings. (Development Title Section 9-1022.4(4)) <br /> (2) All animal enclosures, including but not limited to pens, cages, and feed areas, <br /> shall be maintained free from litter, garbage, and excessive accumulation of <br /> manure so as to discourage the proliferation of flies, other disease vectors, and <br /> offensive odors. The premises shall be maintained in a neat and sanitary <br /> manner. (Development Title Section 9-1045.7(b)) <br /> (3) Except for movement on and off the property, dogs shall not be kept or <br /> maintained in coops, pens, corrals, or within barns or similar structures on <br /> property of less than one-half acre or closer than 40 feet from any rear or side <br /> property line. (Development Title Section 9-1045.3) <br /> 2. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS: (Staff contact: Tom Iwamiya, 468-3000) <br /> a. An encroachment permit shall be required for work within the road right-of-way. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1145.4) <br /> b. The site plan shall delineate the specific buildings used for the kennel operation and their <br /> areas. <br /> C. The Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee will be required for this development. The fee is due <br /> and payable at the time of site plan approval. The fee currently is $936.00 per 1,000 <br /> gross square feet of building designated as Service Commercial or$134.34 per daily trip- <br /> end generated in the Lockeford area. The fee shall be automatically adjusted July 1 of <br /> each year by the Engineering Construction Cost Index as published by the Engineering <br /> News Record.
