Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report******* APN: 207-22047 **"M"**Parcel Nos. 1, 2,&3
The surface soil to a depth of about eight (8) inches is a easily crumbled brown
sandy loam with granular structure and has a moderately acid reaction (pH 5.3). The
moisture equivalent is 12.81 percent.
From 8 to 22 inches the soil is somewhat redder than the surface and it is
compact.
From 22 to 34 inches the soil becomes more yellowish and the prismatic structure
is more pronounced. Some lime is usually encountered and the pH is 7.7.
From 34 to 49 inches, there is silica or lime cemented hardpan or yellowish- or
brownish-gray color, which contains some lime near the surface.
Below the hardpan is a pale brown, massive, slightly calcareous, sandy loam.
It is in very gently sloping or gently undulating lower terraces topography.
Surface drainage is good. The dense hardpan layers restrict subsoil drainage.
The University of California publication entitled"Soils of San Joaquin County,
California,United States Department of Agricultural Soil Conservation Service", issued
October 1992, lists Exeter Sandy Loam as the soil that may be encountered on the subject
property.
EXETER SANDY LOAM
The Exeter soil series consists mainly of moderately well drained soil in terraces.
The soils are moderately deep to hardpan. They are formed in alluvium derived from
mixed rock sources. Soils in the xeter series are fine and loamy in nature and on slopes
from 0 to 2 percent.
From 0 to 8 inches depth, the soil is dark brown in color with weak, course and
angular blocky structure. It is very hard, slightly sticks, and slightly plastic. It has many
very fine and common fine roots and is slightly acid.
From 8 to 13 inches depth, the soil is dark brown in color with.weak, coarse
angular blocky structure. It is very hard, slightly sticky and slightly plastic with common
very fine and few fine roots.
From 13 to 26 inches depth, the soil is brown in color, moist, with weak, coarse
surangular blocky structure. It is very hard, slightly sticky and slightly plastic with
common very fine roots. It is mildly alkaline.
From 26 to 29 inches depth, the soil is brown in color, sand clay loam. It is moist,
very hard, slightyly sticky and slightly plastic with common very fine and few fine roots.
Tne T. T)iitra Tr -----VU90 T"harn LmnP_____Clnkdnle-----Califnrnin Q5161 5
