C. Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with the California Fire Code, Volume <br />2, Standard 10-1. <br />d. A water supply for fire suppression will have to be installed. Methods of construction will <br />determine the quantity of water and the type of supply, as well as the location on the site <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (Staff Contact: Gabriel Karam, 468-3000) <br />a. An encroachment permit shall be required for work in the Eight Mile Road right-of-way. <br />(Development Title Section 9-1145.4) <br />b. The Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee will be required for this development. The fee is due <br />and payable at the time of building permit application. The fee currently is $704.00 per <br />1,000 gross square feet of building designated as Warehouse in the Thornton area. The <br />fee shall be automatically adjusted July 1 of each year by the Engineering Construction <br />Cost Index as published by the Engineering News Record. (Resolution R-96-592) <br />C. A copy of the Improvement Plan shall be submitted prior to the release of building permits. <br />PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES (Staff Contact: Greg Oliveira, 468-0341) <br />a. Submit an improvement plan to the San Joaquin County Community Development <br />Department, for approval by the Environmental Health Division, which shows the sewage <br />and well information required by the improvement plan (including a 100 percent expansion <br />area). <br />b. State on revised plans or improvement plans the maximum number of employees the <br />sewage disposal system is being designed for and that the leach field area will be <br />barricaded so that it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage area. This <br />leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only and cannot contain any <br />underground utility lines. (Development Title Section 9-1110.4[c][5]) <br />C. Construct an individual sewage disposal system under permit and inspection by the <br />Environmental Health Division at the time of development (Development Title Sections 9- <br />1110.3 and 9-1110.4), or provide evidence that the existing septic system meets <br />Environmental Health Division standards for this usage. <br />d. Construct a water well under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Division <br />prior to occupancy. Should the number of nonresident individuals exceed 24 for at least <br />60 days per year, or the number of service connections exceed four, a yearly permit to <br />operate a public water system under the provisions of Title 22, CCR, will be required by <br />the Environmental Health Division and Development Title Sections 9-1120.2 and 9- <br />1115.9. The existing well us not constructed to Environmental Health District standards to <br />provide potable water to system users. <br />e. The existing water well shall be properly destroyed.
