ANDERSON ENVIRONMENTAL. <br /> A N 'D A $ $ O C I A T .E S INSPECTIONS a TESTING <br /> LABORATORY SERVICES <br /> POOL ENGINEERING <br /> POST TENSION DESIGN <br /> November 19, 2004 <br /> NOA Project Number: E04107A <br /> PART I: SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> PERMIT APPLICATION NUMBER: PA-03-487 <br /> 3737 WEST ELEVENTH STREET <br /> F1TRACY, CALIFORNIA <br /> F] <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> Our office was contracted by Mr.Vern Vierra to conduct a soil suitability study for the proposed <br /> construction of a small sign manufacturing business and caretakers mobile home at 3 37 West <br /> EleStreet Tracy, Cali ornia. <br /> The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> F19-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> conducting a percolation test that meets the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin <br /> County,Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD). In addition to the Soil <br /> Suitability Study (Part I), a Nitrate Loading Study was completed that provides an estimate to the <br /> potential impact of nitrates from the project to shallow ground water. <br /> F1In addition to conducting the percolation test, a review of published soil information,geologic <br /> maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> Fseptic system. <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> , the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Regruremerlts Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The Assessor Parcel Numbers for the site are 239-070-03. .30 acres in size) &239-0 (.82 acres <br /> in size) (Plate 2). The San Joaquin County App cation number is PA-03-487.
