 KLE1fVFELDER
NITRATE TEST RESULTS
The test results were as follows:
Date Test Result(mgLl
May 28 89 as NO3 (equivalent to 20 as N)
June 7 23 as N
CONCLUSIONS
Based on the above results and our conversations with the SJC EHD, we conclude that the nitrate
levels present in the groundwater are approximately double the maximum allowable nitrate
levels of 10 mg/l as N. According to the SJC EHD, a denitrification system will need to be
installed for this parcel. We understand that a generic, conservative design is available at the
SJC EDH office, or a site-specific design can be utilized.
LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the nitrate test results and our conversations with the
SJC EHD. It was assumed that the test results are representative of the nitrate levels in the
general area.
This completes the scope of work requested. Our work was performed in general accordance
with the standard of care that exists in San Joaquin County. No other guarantee or warranty,
expressed or implied, is made.
Respectfully submitted,
KLEINF DER, INC
Ronald E.
