F.,
Sanguinetti Property Page 2 of 3
Our Project Number: LGS080530
August 15, 2008
Table 1
! A 2-inch diameter PVC pipe
with open ends and slots was placed in the hole. About six inches of pea gravel was placed in
the annular space around the pipe. The hole was pre-soaked 24 hours prior to the test with 12
F inches of water above the bottom of the hole.
During the percolation test, the fall of six inches of water was measured above the top of gravel
F during the four (4) hour test period. Measurements were made every 30 minutes for a four (4)
hour period. The last half hour of the test was inspected by Michael Escotto, Inspector EHD.
l ' Table 2
Summary of Percolation Tests
Test No., Date Percolation
Percolation Comments
Tested Test Depth Test Duration
feet Rate (min/in) (see notes)
Parcel 1 23.30 12.5 4 Hours Satisfactory
Percolation
Rate
Parcel 2 21.15 250 4 Hours Failing percolation
F`
} Rate
Parcel 3 24.05 4.10 4 Hours Satisfactory
Percolation Rate
Parcel 4 24.15 83.3 4 Hours Failing percolation
iI Rate
Note: A satisfactory percolation rate for a"shallow"test is less than or equal to 60 minutes per inch.
A satisfactory percolation rate for a"deep"test is less than or equal to 30 minutes per inch.
Either a shallow or a deep percolation test needs to meet the minimum acceptable percolation
rate established by the EHD for a standard test. The soils within the sewage disposal areas of
Parcels 1 and 3 on the subject property have demonstrated a satisfactory percolation rate in
accordance with the requirements of the EHD for the use of a standard septic system.
( I
1 h
P
902 Industrial Way•Lodi,CA 95240-209.367.3701 •Fax 209.369.4228 ©2008 Neil 0.Anderson&Associates,Inc
