Catch basin Inserts meeting MHCSD's <br /> Standards shall be installed and maintained by the builder and the homeowner's association. <br /> 23. Utilities: <br /> A. The Developers and contractors shall comply with Ordinance No. 4162"Street Opening <br /> and Pavement Restoration Regulations". <br /> B. Prior to the submittal of improvement plans for the development, the developer shall <br /> submit to the MFICSD composite schematic plans for in tract storm drains, sanitary <br /> sewers, and water distribution facilities <br /> C. Electrical transformers within residential Neighborhoods shall be in underground vaults, <br /> subject to MHC£D and Modesto Irrigation District(MID)requirements. The developer <br /> shall pay for any incremental costs relating to undergrounding transformers not paid for <br /> by MID. <br /> 24. The applicant shall comply with the requirements of the Transportation Demand Management <br /> and Transit Plan (Hoyt, 1997) as administered by the MHCSD. Timing: ongoing. <br /> 25. The applicant shall construct catch basin filters and/or other source control Best Management <br /> Practices (BMPs)for u-ban runoff from Tract 3636 as determined by the MHCSD. <br /> 26. Construction-Related Erosion: The applicant and/or contractor shall comply with applicable <br /> NPDES General Construction Activities Storm Water Permit requirements established by the <br /> Clean Water Act. Pursuant to the NPDES Storm Water Program, an application for coverage <br /> under the statewide General Construction Activities Storm Water Permit(General Permit) <br /> shall be obtained for project development prior to the issuance of grading permits. The <br /> applicant and/or contractor shall obtain coverage under the General Permit by filing a Notice <br /> of Intent with the State Water Resource Control Board's (SWRCB)Division of Water Quality. <br /> The filing shall describe:erosion control and storm water treatment measures to be <br /> implemented during and following construction and provide a schedule for monitoring <br /> performance. MHCSD approved BMPs shall serve to control point and non-point source <br /> pollutants in storm water and shall constitute the project's storm water pollution prevention <br /> program (SWPPP)for construction activities. Timing: All applicable permits shall be obtained <br /> prior to the issuance of grading permits for Tract 3636. <br /> 27. The applicant, in conjunction with the MHCSD and school districts, shall address traffic control <br /> and standard traffic safety measures, such as"walk to school plans", at the elementary and <br /> high school sites. Timirg: As improvement plans are submitted for the school sites. <br /> 28. Water service to the common areas shall not begin without notifying MHCSD of the intent to <br /> start irrigation. The billing process must be setup before water is turned on. <br /> 29. The Homeowners Association must be chartered with billing for water, sewer storm, and <br /> refuse collection service. <br /> 30. The builder shall install a water assembly including the remote sensor and PR valve, if <br /> required, per details 130 - 132 as approved by the MHCSD. <br /> 31. All interior water piping shall be plastic material as approved by the Building Board of Appeals. <br /> 32. All residential building shall be wired per specifications in the"Low Voltage Construction Pre- <br /> Wire Guidelines"and other specifications provided by the MHCSD. <br /> 8 <br />
