U
f. The proposed expansion will increase the amount of runoff as a result of increasing the impervious
surface area. Therefore, the capacity of the existing retention pond shall be increased to
accommodate the additional runoff generated as a result of the proposed project. Required retention
pond capacity shall be calculated by a registered civil engineer, licensed contractor, or an architect
prior to the release of building permits.
g. The applicant shall provide a written statement to Public Works stating whether or not Surface
Transportation Assistance Act(STAR)type trucks will be used as a part of the proposed operation. If
STAA type trucks are to be used, the driveways serving the site off of State Route 88 shall be
designed and improved using a template to meet the turning radius of STAA trucks.
3. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEARTMENT(Staff Contact: Michael Escotto, 468-3443)
a. Submit to Environmental Health revised site plans showing the maximum number of employees and
customers the sewage disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans
that the leach field area will be barricaded so that it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a
storage area. This leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain
any underground utility lines(Development Title Section 9-1110.41c][51). In addition, the revised site
plan shall incorporate the 100 percent designed sewage disposal replacement area.
b. Construction of individual sewage disposal systems under permit and inspection by Environmental
Health is required at the time of development based on the soil suitability/nitrate loading study
findings(Development Title Sections 9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4).
4. SAN JOAQUIN COUNCIL OF GOVERMENTS (Staff Contact: Anne-Marie Poggio-Castillou, 468-3913)
a. This project is subject to the San Joaquin County Multi-Species Habitat Conservation and Open
Space Plan (SJMSCP) and is located within the unmapped land use area. Per requirements of the
SJMSCP, unmapped projects are subject to case-by-case review. This can be a 90-day process,
and it is recommended that the project applicant contact SJMSCP staff as early as possible.
San Joaquin County PA-08000481Cortopassi
Community Development Page 11
