SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION
JNo pit was excavated. All test holes were augured. The soil is classified as:
Top 12"-Organic, dark Si.Sd,non plastic; 12-42"- Tan, Si.Sd, not compacted; 42"-24' Si.Sd.; 24'-
25'Uniform sand, reddish tint.
1 Moderate to high infiltration rates.Non-plastic material. Excellent material for on-site septic
systems.
PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION
The location of all test holes are shown on the TPM. A GPS hand held instrument was used to
record the Longitude and Latitude of the test hole on each parcel. In addition a marker stake was
left protruding from the test hole.
On 10/25/07 the north parcel (Parcel 2 on TPM) tested satisfactorily. The southerly parcel
(Parcel 1) failed both deep and shallow.
On 10-30-07 the retest was made on the Southerly parcel (Parcel 1) and tested
satisfactorily.(Shallow)
All holes were augured and sleeved with PVC pipe. Gravel was place in the bottom and around
the PVC pipe per schematic included.(Drawing per Smith&Associates.)
Date Time Depth Diameter Depth of Pre-soak Water Test conformed to SJC Policy
EHD 02-02
10/251071000 42" 4" 12" Yes Parcel
10-30-071000 42" 6" 12" Yes Parcell
All holes were intact and empty after the 24 hour pre-soak.
Parcel 2 requires 6,000 SF Leach Field; Parcel 1 requires 10,000 SF.
The field record form is included in this report. The critical readings were observed on 10/25/07
by Mike Escotto and on 10/30/07 by Lisa Medina.
Based on the field observations of the soil and the satisfactory percolation test results no potential
problems are predicted with respect to on-site septic systems up to and including two family
residences per site.
CONCLUSION
No warranty is expressed or implied by the findings of this report. A standard septic sysyem
should function satisfactorily in the type of soil observed in the test holes, when the system is
installed in accordance with standards of San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Division and
proper use and maintenance is practiced by the occupants.
2.
