Therefore, . the project proponent should <br /> be notified that a Reclamation Board permit is required prior to <br /> start of any work, including excavation: and construction <br /> activities, within the Bear Creek project floodway, its levees, <br /> and within 10 feet landward of the landside levees toes, as <br /> required by Section 8710 of the California Water Code. 1 <br /> The project proponent should also be notified that the Board <br /> does not permit the installation of pipelines or conduits <br /> parallel to the levee and within the levee section and. within <br /> 10 feet of the levees toes, and generally does not permit work <br /> within the floodway, levees and 10 feet landward of the landside <br /> levees toes during the flood season -from November 1 to April 15 .. <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to comment .
