NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT BEGINNING 9:00 A.M., ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2008, or as soon as the matter can be heard thereafter, THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, IN THE CHAMBERS OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, on the Seventh Floor of the Courthouse, 222 East Weber Avenue, Stockton, California, will hold a public hearing and receive oral and written statements regarding the following application and its environmental determination: PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ZONE RECLASSIFICATION NO. PA-0800165 OF STEVEN & LILLIAN DIEDE to rezone a 2.8 acre parcel from AU-20 (Agricultural Urban Reserve- 20-acre minimum) to C-G (General Commercial). The existing General Plan designation is C1G (General Commercial). The project site is located on the west side of State Route 88, 1100 feet north of Brandt Road, south of Lockeford (Supervisorial District 4). Environmental Determination: An Initial Study indicates that this project will not have a significant effect on the environment, and a Negative Declaration has been posted. All persons interested in this matter are invited to be present and submit written and/or oral statements regarding the project or the environmental determination at this hearing. If you challenge the nature of the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Division at, or prior to, the public hearing.
