Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Dear Mr, Fisher:
Caltrans has reviewed the Minor Subdivision Application (MS-01-35) to divide a
10.72 acre parcel into a 5.2 acre parcel, and a remainder of 5.5 acres. The project site
is located on the west side of State Route (SR) 88, 1300 feet north of Brandt Road,
Lockeford (APN 051-310-30). Caltrans has the following comments:
• Caltrans has no objection to this subdivision application, however we require
review of any future applications for on site activities requiring-ezlcroachment
permits for approval and/or which may affect the State High ay y system.
• Right of Way (ROW) dedication to 15.24 meters (50 feet) and a pave out of 11.58
E meters (38 feet) from centerline for (SR) 88 fronting the subject property will be
required. If right of way is being dedicated to Caltrans, the applicant is required to
submit a copy of Attachment A, confirming that the land to be dedicated to
Caltrans is free of hazardous waste. Even if right of way is not being dedicated to
i Caltrans it is a good practice to conduct a record search to obtain known hazardous
waste locations.
• Be advised, depending upon the kind of development that may occur as a result of
this application, Caltrans may restrict access to SR 88, and require all traffic to
utilize the Blossom Court public road connection. Also, Caltrans will require
traffic data to assess any potential mitigation required as a result of this project.
• A Caltrans Encroachment Permit will be required-for any work performed within
the right of way. Additional biological, archaeological, or other environmental
studies may be required as a part of the encroachment permit application. A
qualified professional must conduct any studies undertaken to satisfy the Caltrans
environmental review responsibilities. Ground disturbing activities to the site prior
to completion and/or approval of required environmental documents may effect
Caltrans' ability to issue a permit for the project. Furthermore, if engineering plans
or drawings will be part of your permit application, they must be prepared in both
metric and standard units.
`Caltrans improves mobility across California"
606700.FIS HERS!.DUPRI EST
11GGLNS.mee
