Clements Road AG-40 (General Agriculture) <br /> At the time of our investigation, the study area consisted of pastureland periodically used for <br /> grazing cattle and horses. The site was bounded on the south and west by vacant and <br /> agricultural land with scattered single-family residences, on the east by Clements Road and <br /> vacant and agricultural land with scattered single-family residences, and on the north by vacant <br /> land, Lay's restaurant, and agricultural land with scattered single-family residences. Bear <br /> Creek crosses through the southern portion of the study area. The existing parcel lines and <br /> Bear Creek are shown on Plate 1. <br /> 2. PRESENT AND PAST USE <br /> ,- At the time of this investigation, the study area consisted of pastureland, only a portion of <br /> which was being used. Based on information provided by the property owner, it is his <br /> ` understanding that a residence was once located on the property. The home was removed from <br /> the site many years prior to his acquisition of the property, and the home's location at the site is <br /> unknown. Besides the residence, the only known uses of the site have been related to grazing <br /> horses and cattle. <br /> 3. SEPTIC PERMITS AND PERFORMANCE <br /> SJCEHD files were searched to identify septic permits at parcels in the project vicinity. There <br /> IW' were no permits on file for the parcels proposed for development. Nine permits were reviewed <br /> for parcels located adjacent to or near the subject property. These permits were for new <br /> { installations and repairs/additions to existing septic systems.
