COMPLIANCE DATE: Because the banquet room is currently operating without the required <br /> permits, the Site Plans for the banquet room shall be submitted within 60 days from the date <br /> of this approval letter. Enforcement action will be deferred if the Site Plan for the banquet <br /> room is submitted within 60 days and the Conditions of Approval are met wlthin six months <br /> from the effective date of this approval letter. <br /> M. BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following Uniform Building Code and San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) Required exits must exit into legal yards or public ways. Exit amps may not be built <br /> off property unless permitted by an irrevocable easement. <br /> (2) The proposed Banquet Room is an A-2.1 occupancy and, consequently, will require <br /> one-hour construction or fine sprinklers. <br /> n. FIRE CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction <br /> plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of public water mains <br /> (Appendix III-A of the Uniform Fire Code). <br /> (2) Fire hydrants shall be supplied in accordance with Appendix III-B of the Uniform Fire <br /> Code. <br /> (3) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the <br /> California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> (4) All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinkler systems and water- <br /> flow switches shall be monitored in accordance with Section 904.3.1 of the California <br /> Fire Code. <br /> (5) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> (6) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with Section 902.4 (Key <br /> Boxes). A knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (n Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Volume <br /> 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> (8) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to <br /> life or property.
