Please consider this letter as the response of <br /> the Linden Unified School District to your Department' s request for <br /> comments regarding the above project . The project is a religious <br /> assembly facility for the Jehovah' s Witnesses with a maximum <br /> occupancy of ap,proXimately 100 persons . The Site Plan calls for <br /> 150 parking stalls . We are assuming that the project will <br /> primarily be used on weekends and evenings and that the church will <br /> not usually conduct large scale activities during school hours . <br /> The District' s Waverly School is located across Wilmarth Lane <br /> from the project . The school' s enrollment during the regular <br /> school year is approximately 330 students and there are usually six <br /> bus trips to and from the school each day. The site has spaces for <br /> 37 vehicles . Redwood School, a special education facility operated <br /> by the San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools, is Located <br /> next to Waverly School and also uses Wilmarth as its primary means <br /> of access . <br /> The District does not oppose the project but is concerned <br /> about the increased traffic which will result and how this will <br />
