(Grading that disturbs more than one acre will require a National Pollutant <br /> Discharge Elimination System permit). A Preliminary Soils Report is required in accordance with the <br /> County Standards for the purpose of determining the ROValue for the design of the roadways. The <br /> improvement plans and specifications are subject to plan check, field inspection fees and must be approved <br /> by the Department of Public Works prior to construction of improvements. (Development Title Section <br /> 9-240, Section 9-910, Section 9-1100 and R-92-814)• <br /> Informational Notes: <br /> (i) Any construction activity that results in the disturbance of at least one(1)acre of soil shall require a State <br /> NPDES construction permit. Dischargers whose projects disturb 1 or more acres of soil or whose projects <br /> disturb less than 1 acre of soil and is not part of a larger common plan of development, are required to <br /> obtain coverage under the current General Permit for Discharges of Storm Water Associated with <br /> Construction Activity(www.swreb.ca.gov/stonnwtr/gen_const.html#const permit). <br /> (ii.) All future building permits for projects located within'a Special Flood Hazard Area at the time of permit <br /> issuance shall meet the San Joaquin County flood hazard reduction requirements(Title 9, Chapter 9-1605) <br /> and all requirements of the State of California(CCR Title 23)that are in force at the time of permit <br /> issuance.
