spillover beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public <br /> thoroughfares, provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to <br /> motorists. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) A minimum ten (10) foot wide landscaped strip, respecting the ultimate right-of- <br /> way width of 50 feet, shall be installed across the frontage of the project site. <br /> (2) The parking area shall be landscaped as specified in Section 9-1020.5 of the <br /> Development Title. The parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five <br /> percent (5%) of landscaping within the perimeter of the parking area, not <br /> including landscaping along the street frontage. <br /> j. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, <br /> shall be screened so as not to be visible from adjacent properties and public <br /> rights-of-way. Screening shall be six (6) to seven (7) feet in height. Outside <br /> storage is not permitted in front yards, street side yards, or in front of main <br /> buildings. UNIFORM FIRE CODE The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for <br /> a building permit: <br /> (1) A complete review at building permit submittal will require compliance with <br /> applicable codes and ordinances. <br /> (2) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in <br /> Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> (3) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of <br /> the California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin <br /> County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (4) Key Boxes: a Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire <br /> department's instructions. <br /> (5) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, <br /> Volume 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> (6) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations <br /> hazardous to life or property.
