In 2009 a comprehensive update to the 1993 Airport Land Use Plan (ALUP) <br /> was completed for the county's public use airports. The updated ALUCP did not include Stockton Metropolitan <br /> as the airport is currently updating its Master Plan. Therefore, all projects within Stockton Metro Airport AIA are <br /> subject to the policies and criteria within the 1993 ALUP. <br /> CONSISTENCY REVIEW <br /> This project includes a Use Permit application to expand an existing large winery crushing operation from <br /> 140,000 trans of grapes to 200,000 tons of grapes in three phases over five years. Phase one to include a new <br /> refrkp atlon station with a 2,142 square foot canopy, new 6,053 square foot centrifuge canopy, new 357 square <br /> foot filter canopy, remodel existing warehouse for new barrel storage area tank farms and fermenting tanks and <br /> upgrade waste water system and management operations of processed waste water for vineyard irrigation. <br /> Phase two to include (4) four new refrigeration plants with a 2,142 square foot canopy, relocated existing <br /> receiving and crushing area, new 24,936 square foot maintenance shop building, new 50,000 gallon water tank,- <br /> now <br /> ank,new 6,000. square foot cellar processing building, tank farms and fermenting bottling area into an employee <br /> office area and receiving and ingredient warehouse, tank farms and fermenting tanks. The project is located on <br /> the wrist side of South State route 99 West Frontage Road, 1.7 miles north of Lathrop Road in the city of <br /> Stockton <br /> Within the 1993 ALUP Stockton Metro's AIA Is divided into subareas. In each subarea, different land use <br /> standards,conditions, and restrictions apply. The project site is located within the Horizontal Surface,which <br /> Includes the approach and climbout area, and areas within the 80 db CNEL contours. <br /> The land uses proposed within the Horizontal Surface are consistent with the 1993 ALUP The following are <br /> ALUC standard conditions and should be carried through as conditions of approval: <br /> 1. Now land uses that may cause visual, electronic, or increased bird strike hazards to aircraft In flight <br /> shall not be permitted within any airport's influence area. Specific characteristics to be avoided include: <br /> o Glare or distracting lights which could be mistaken for airport lights. Reflective materials are not <br /> permitted to be used In structures or signs(excluding traffic directing signs); <br />
