The <br /> purpose of Regulation VIII is to reduce the amount of fine particulate matter (PM,o) <br /> entrained into the ambient air from man-made sources. Specifically, the Rules within <br /> Regulation VIII that apply to your project are: Rule 8010 (Administrative <br /> Requirements), Rule 8020 (Construction, Demolition, Excavation, and Extraction <br /> Activities), and Rule 8030 (Handling and Storage of Bulk Materials). <br /> The attached Synopsis highlights many of the requirements contained within <br /> Regulation VIII.
