Indicate the different types on non- <br /> compostable materials and the different dumpsters they will be placed in (i.e. regular trash, <br /> treated wood waste, hazardous materials, etc.) List at least one landfill the material will be taken <br /> to for disposal. State in the RCSI that daily temperature readings will be taken from the feedstock <br /> and ground material. <br /> f) The Section titled "Composting Material-Windrow Area" does not state the vector control methods <br /> that will be utilized. List these methods. Explain in the RCSI how the windrows will undergo <br /> pathogen reduction (state the minimum temperatures, turnings, and time). Throughout the Project <br /> Description, the word "regime" is used. Revise the word to "regimen". Describe the water regimen <br /> (what it is, the process, source of the water, etc.) in the RCSI. <br /> g) For the Section titled "Fire Protection", contact the Lathrop-Manteca Rural Fire Department for the <br /> review of onsite water source/storage. The fire department needs to determine if water volume is <br /> adequate for the site. <br /> h) The truck scale shall be relocated to accommodate the on-site queuing of three trucks (one on <br /> the scale, and two in line) or the main entrance shall be relocated to accommodate the on-site <br /> queuing of three trucks (one on the scale, and two in line) <br /> i) A soil suitability study/nitrate loading study incorporating proposed staff and customer use shall <br /> be submitted to the Environmental Health Department, indicating that the area is suitable for <br /> septic system usage. A review fee of$625 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental <br /> Health Department. <br /> j) The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic <br /> tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is <br /> required for each parcel. A permit fee of$125 per percolation hole is required. <br /> k) Construction of an individual sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required prior to issuance of the Solid Waste Facilities <br /> Permit.
