ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS <br /> SA-90-21 <br /> PAGE 2 <br /> 2 . The grading plan shall include complete drainage <br /> details and elevations of the adjacent parcels. <br /> Retaining wall details shall be submitted where <br /> applicable . <br /> 3 . Grading in excess of 5 ,000 cubic yards shall <br /> comply with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading <br /> Requirements" . <br /> 4 . All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be <br /> incorporated in the grading plans . <br /> 5. All grading permits are subject to approval by the <br /> other departments . <br /> 4 . PLANNING DIVISION <br /> a. No soil excavated for the pond construction shall be <br /> removed from the project parcel . <br /> b. The improvement plan shall show typical cross sections <br /> of the ponds . <br /> C. The site shall not be open to the public for either <br /> retail sales or commercial fishing activities . <br /> 5 . DEPARTMENT OF FISH & GAME <br /> a. Applicant should be advised to consider bird screening <br /> over his ponds . Depredation upon reared fish in ponds <br /> by wild birds can be substantial and expensive. Hazing <br /> by loud sounds and scarecrows is mostly ineffective. <br /> Killing of wild birds must be approved in advance by <br /> DFG and/or the U .S . Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) . <br /> Such approval may not be forthcoming. <br />
