The property lies within a <br /> predominantly agricultural area west of Lower Sacramento Road(Plate 2). The triangular- <br /> shaped property consists of approximately 90 acres of agricultural land and has San Joaquin <br /> 1- County Assessor's Parcel Numbers(APNs) 084-030-003 and 084-030-016(Plate 3). The property <br /> is currently a combination of hay crop land MEan active dairy. "yo In N 6&R 3,tf 44A3 yPs <br /> L <br /> The cover page of this report contains a color photograph, which is a northwesterly view of the <br /> subject property, taken from the southeastern corner of the property. Additional color <br /> photography of the property is included on Plate 6. <br /> V A majority of the property consists of hay crop land. An active dairy is located on the eastern <br /> portion of the property. A total of eight residences, all associated with the dairy are located to the <br /> south of the main dairy o enation. Each of the residences are single-family homes constructed of <br /> wood with wood siding�One domestic well is located south of the cluster of residences. <br /> Although we could not find its buried location, it is reasonable to presume that the rural residential <br /> sites likewise operate with private septic systems and leachfields. <br /> ` There area total of five covered holding corrals located on the northern portion of the dairy <br /> operatioffatDne domestic water supply well is located east of the covered holding corrals. The <br /> Lmain milking operation is located on the southern portion of the dairy. The milking barn is <br /> located just north of the residences. To the west of the covered holding corrals are agricultural <br /> jtail water and wastewater ponds (Plate 6). The wastewater ponds are plumbed and sized such <br /> that dairy wastewater does not leave the subject property. The wastewater ponds represent a <br /> "closed loop" aerobic and anaerobic treatment process for the dairy wastewater.
