Mountain House Speck Plan III — <br /> ........................................................................................................................................................................... <br /> 9.8 Vehicular Parking - <br /> 9.8.1 Master Plan Summary <br /> The Master Plan provides on and off-street parking facilities to meet the parking demands of the planned <br /> land uses and encourage the use of alternative modes to the automobile. <br /> On-street parking at Mountain House shall be permitted along collector and local streets in residential, <br /> industrial and commercial areas. On-street parking is generally prohibited on major arterials except for _ <br /> the Town Center and designated emergency parking. Access to transit and rail travel will be facilitated <br /> through the provision of adequate park-and-ride facilities at major transit and transfer locations.An on- <br /> street parking policy in commercial areas shall encourage turnover, ensure the availability of parking,and <br /> discourage use of parking by employees. <br /> The Mountain House Development Title addresses parking requirements,including specified minimums <br /> and maximums and provisions for compact cars,carpools, and cleaner fuel vehicles. — <br /> 9.8.2 Specific Plan III Description <br /> Specific Plan III contains public, residential, office,commercial and industrial land uses that will have <br /> off-street parking facilities. The location and design of these facilities are mostly regulated by the <br /> Development Title for private land uses and by MHCSD standards for public land uses. The Community <br /> College parking standards will be determined by the College District and parking standards for the K-8 <br /> schools will be determined by LESD. Specific Plan III also includes standards set forth in the Master <br /> Plan. <br /> 9.8.3 Implementation Measures <br /> a. MHCSD Parking Requirements. All implementing public improvement projects shall comply with <br /> the applicable provisions of the MHCSD Development Standards (see Section 1: General Design <br /> Requirements and Section 2: Street Design Standards)and Design Manual,as amended(see Chapter _ <br /> Three: Streetscapes, Chapter Seven: Lighting, and Chapter Eight: Signage). <br /> b. MHCSD Transportation and Transit-Related Parking Requirements. All implementing projects shall <br /> comply with the applicable provisions of the MHCSD Transit Demand Management and Transit Plan. <br /> c. County Parking Requirements.All implementing projects shall comply with the applicable provisions <br /> of the San Joaquin County Development Title(see Chapter 1015M: Parking and Loading). <br /> d.
