As part of the project site
annexation, the district shall work with the BBID to develop a detailed irrigation assessment to convey
irrigation water to the project site for landscaping purposes. The District shall obtain a"will serve"letter
from the BBID to confirm the irrigation water supply will be adequate for project irrigation needs. The Mountain House
CSD shall confirm that water supply would be adequate for the project and that the project's demand
would not impact other developments within Mountain House.
• The District shall contribute to the cost of updating the Water System Master Plan to account for the
change in land use a the project site and the use of BBID irrigation water for irrigation of project site
landscaping. The updated Water System Master Plan shall be completed and adopted by the Mountain
House CSD Board of Directors prior to construction of Phase I of the proposed project.
► Mitigation Measure 4.4-2. The District shall pay its fair share costs to construct Phase 11 of the water —
treatment plant. A"will serve"letter shall be issued by the Mountain House CSD prior to construction of
Phase I of the proposed project.
Mitigation Measure 4.4-3.the District shall contribute to the cost of updating the Water System Master Plan. —
This plan shall identify the location of water storage tanks and their sizing. The updated Water System
Master Plan shall be completed and adopted by the Mountain House CSD Board of Directors prior to
construction of Phase I of the proposed project. Once the location and sizing of the water storage tank has
been determined, the District shall pay its fair share costs to construct the facility.
Mountain House Community Services District Design Manual 2002
There are no water design measures or standards identified in the Mountain House Community Services Design
Manual applicable to the proposed project.
Significant Impacts Identified in the 1994 Mountain House Master Plan and Specific Plan I Final
EIR _
The MHMP EIR identified the following significant public utilities impacts associated with implementation of the
MHMP:
► Inadequate raw water storage in case of restrictions of water diversions imposed by state or federal agencies.
► Adverse impacts on continuing agricultural operations in the area, resulting from conversion from agricultural
to municipal/industrial water use.
Inadequate water supply for Master Plan buildout.
► Lack of sufficient water-treatment capacity for initial or subsequent development within the Master Plan area.
EDAW College Park at Mountain House Specific Plan III Draft EIR
Public Utilities 4.5-16 San Joaquin County
