2. Promotion of Historic Preservation. <br /> (a) The County shall continue to support and fund historical preservation efforts, such as the County <br /> Museum complex at Micke Grove,Harmony Grove Church,and Haggin Museum. <br /> (b) A Historic Preservation Commission shall be established to promote heritage preservation programs. <br /> 3. Historic Resource Inventory.The County shall inventory heritage resources in the unincorporated area <br /> and shall encourage inventories in the cities. — <br /> 4. Historic Preservation Regulation.The County Development Title shall include archaeologic and historic <br /> preservation regulations,which will specify procedures to be followed in the event that significant — <br /> resources are discovered during the development process. <br /> 5. Registration of Historic Properties. Owners of eligible historic properties shall be encouraged to apply for _ <br /> state and federal registration and to participate in tax programs for historic restoration. <br /> Mountain House Master Plan 1994 <br /> The following cultural resources policies from the Mountain House Master Plan are applicable to the proposed <br /> project. <br /> Additional Surveys (Section 7.4ral).Additional archaeological surveys shall be conducted in areas that have not <br /> been subjected to intensive archaeological reconnaissance. <br /> Subsurface Features/Buried Prehistoric Resources (Sections 7.f(bl and [c]). If subsurface archaeological resources <br /> are uncovered during construction,work shall be immediately halted in the vicinity of the find and an on-site <br /> evaluation conducted by a qualified archaeologist. Such evaluations may entail archaeological test excavation _. <br /> and/or mitigative data recovery. <br /> Human Remains(Section 7.4fel).
