► Implementation Measure 7.43(c).If,during the course of construction,subsurface historic archaeological <br /> features,artifacts or evidence of materials such as bone, shell,or non-native stone are uncovered or identified <br /> on site, or anywhere within the Specific Plan IH project site,work shall be immediately halted in the vicinity <br /> of the finding and a qualified archaeologist consulted for an on-site evaluation. Such evaluation may entail <br /> archaeological test excavation and/or mitigative data recovery. <br /> ► Implementation Measure 7.43 (d).The County Coroner,the Native American Heritage Commission,and <br /> an archaeologist shall be informed and consulted if a human prehistoric burial site were discovered during site <br /> construction.An agreement shall be formulated between the Native American representative,the <br /> archaeologist, San Joaquin County,and the developer with regard to the proper treatment and disposition of <br /> human remains and associated artifacts. <br /> ► Implementation Measure 7.4.3 (e).If any unknown or unrecorded historical,archaeological or paleontogical <br /> resources are encountered during construction,the San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> (SJCCDD)shall be contacted immediately by the contractor and landowner.All construction shall be halted <br /> immediately in the vicinity of the finding and a qualified archeologist or paleontologist consulted for an onsite <br /> evaluation. Such evaluation may entail history/archaeological text excavation.
