Fifteen of the existing 19 intersections are currently STOP controlled(Figure 4.11-4).Two of the STOP- controlled intersections(Grant Line Road/Altamont Pass Road and Byron Road/Grant Line Road [East])operate at an unacceptable LOS(LOS E and LOS F,respectively).The existing peak-hour volumes for these two _ intersections meet the peak-hour signal warrant.At Grant Line Road/Altamont Pass Road,the p.m.peak hour is extremely heavy on Altamont Pass Road due to traffic using Altamont Pass Road as an alternate to the congested I-580/1-205 freeways.The four signalized intersections operate at acceptable LOS C or better. _ TRANSIT SERVICES The San Joaquin Regional Transit District(SJRTD),the Regional Mobility Manager for San Joaquin County, provides public transit services in the Stockton Metropolitan Area, Intercity,Commuter,and Rural Transit Services. Its Stockton Metropolitan Area Regional Transit(SMART)operates 20 bus trips per day between San Joaquin County(Stockton,Tracy,Lodi, Escalon,Ripon,and Manteca)and the South Bay,East Bay, Sacramento, and Napa regions.The current SMART routes are identified in Table 4.11-3. Route 66,72—Lockheed 3,4 2 Stockton,Manteca,and Tracy via SR 99 to Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale. Route 63—Sacramento via 1 Downtown Sacramento via SR 99 subscription bus serves commuters traveling SR 99 from east Stockton and Lodi via SR 99 to downtown Sacramento. Route 65—Sacramento via I-5 1 Downtown Sacramento via I-5 subscription bus serves commuters traveling from west Stockton via I-5 to downtown Sacramento. — Route 70—San Jose 1 Stockton,Manteca,and Tracy.This bus services multiple locations in the San Jose area. Route 71—Dubhn/Pleasanton I The Dubhn/Pleasanton BART 2 subscription bus serves commuters from west — BART 2 Stockton,Lathrop,and Tracy who work in the Bay Area. Route 73—Northrop 1 The Northrop Grumman/Sunnyvale subscription bus serves commuters Grumman/Sunnyvale traveling from Stockton,Manteca,and Tracy to Northrop Grumman and — National Semiconductor in Sunnyvale. Route 74—Mountain 1 The Mountain View/Palo Alto subscription bus serves commuters traveling View/Palo Alto from Stockton,Manteca,and Tracy to multiple employer locations in the Mountain View and Palo Alto areas. Route 75—Santa Clara 1 This route has pick-up points in Stockton,Manteca,and Tracy.This bus services multiple locations in the Santa Clara and San Jose areas and includes a stop in Milpitas. Route 76—North 1 The North Sacramento/McClellan Business Park subscription bus serves Sacramento/McClellan commuters traveling from Lathrop and Stockton to multiple employers located Business Park in the McClellan Business Park.
