According to a recent news report,the River Islands project in Lathrop will be <br /> funding a portion of the proposed Golden Valley Expressway north of the heavily congested I-205. _ <br /> Mountain House Master Plan and Specific Plan I Mitigation Monitoring Program <br /> Most of the mitigation measures in the MHMP EIR and Specific Plan I were addressed through changes to the <br /> MHMP.The mitigation monitoring program included the following transportation measure that is applicable to <br /> the proposed project: <br /> ► Mitigation Measure M4.12-3.Interchange improvements on I-205 and on I-580 (west of I-205 junction) <br /> should provide for ramp metering with HOV bypass lanes. <br /> College Park at Mountain House Specific Plan 111 2004 <br /> No transportation policies beyond those adopted with the MHMP were recommended in this plan document. — <br /> Final Supplemental EIR for Delta College Center at Mountain House 2002 (Mitigation Measures) <br /> The following transportation mitigation measures from the Final Supplemental EIR for Delta College Center at <br /> Mountain House are applicable to the proposed project. <br /> ► Mitigation Measure 4.12-1.The District shall contribute its proportionate fair share cost of constructing the — <br /> following interim improvements: <br /> An additional protected left tum(dual left-turn lanes)at the I-205 eastbound ramp <br /> A westbound-to-northbound channelized free right-tum lane at the I-205 westbound ramp <br /> ► Mitigation Measure 4.12-2(a).The District shall pay its proportionate fair share cost of the transportation _ <br /> improvement fees(MHTIF)to the MHCSD and the traffic impact mitigation fees(TIMF)to San Joaquin <br /> County.Payment of these fees shall begin upon approval of the annexation agreement between the District <br /> and the MHCSD and shall be paid on a project phasing basis. <br /> Mitigation Measure 4.12-2(b).Prior to the construction of Phase H(and each subsequent phase of project <br /> development),the District shall undertake a traffic study that includes traffic counts and identifies roadway <br /> improvements needed based on project-generated traffic.
