These related
applications include a Master Plan Amendment(PA-0600642), a Specific Plan Amendment(PA-0600643),
a Special Purpose Plan (PA-0600644), and a Development Title Text Amendment(PA-0600645). Each of
the applications for the Cassano Kamilos Project is described below:
Major Subdivision Application(PA-0600641).
The Major Subdivision Application (also referred to as"Tentative Map")encompasses a portion of the Tract
3479 tentative map, which was approved by the Board of Supervisors on November 22, 2005.The
proposed Tentative Map for the Cassano Kamilos Project would subdivide 25.6 acres into 130 Medium-High
Density Residential (R-MH)lots, 99 Medium Density Residential(R-M)lots, approximately 4.7 acres of
Open Space which would be developed as a linear park, and parcels to be developed as private streets,
landscaped common areas, and private courtyards. The overall density of development would be 9 units per
acre. The density of R-M development would be 9.3 units per acre;and the density of R-MH development
would be 12.6 units per acre. Lands to the north, south, east and west of the project have been planned for
development under Specific Plan III or under a previous Mountain House Specific Plan.
Master Plan Amendment(PA-0600642).
The Master Plan Amendment would revise the Master Plan land use map by relocating and adjusting
areas shown as Residential, Medium-High Density(R/MH), Residential, Low & Medium Density(RIL &
RIM), and Open Space/Other (OS10). The relocation/adjustment of the RIMH and R/L&RIM areas would
result in a minor increase in the acreage of both the R-M and R-MH zoning districts, but no change in the
number of R-M units and the number of R-MH units. These changes would apply to a number of Master
Plan figures and tables (Tables 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3; Figures 3.5, 3.8, and 4.1).
