TUSO PROPERTY Page 8 <br /> WKA No. 5475.02 <br /> June 2, 2003 <br /> Historic Tono¢raohic Maos Review <br /> We reviewed historic U.S. Geologic Survey(USGS) topographic maps with coverage of the subject/ <br /> and adjacent properties at the California State Library. It should be noted that the subject property <br /> is located on two different topographic maps, the Clifton Court Forebay and Midway quads. The <br /> 1914 Clifton Court Forebay quad was formerly named the Bethany quad. Maps dated 1914/1916 <br /> and 1978/1980 were reviewed; the results of the maps review are each discussed below. The <br /> 1978/1980 version of the topographic maps containing the subject property(Clifton Court Forebay <br /> r.. and Midway, California)is included as Plate 2. The property lies in Sections 16 and 21, Township <br /> 2 South,Range 4 East, MDB&M. The property has a USGS-reported ground surface elevation of <br /> approximately+120 feet to+160 feet mean sea level(msl). <br /> 1914/1916 Map <br /> On the 1914/1916 maps, the subject property is mapped as undeveloped land. Grant Line Road <br /> has now been built by this time, located to the north of the property. The Alameda County and <br /> San Joaquin County boundary line is mapped approximately 2100 feet to the west of the <br /> ` property. An east to west trending unimproved road is mapped on the southern portion of the <br /> property. A structure is mapped on the southeastern portion of the property,just south of the <br /> unimproved road. An intermittent stream identified as Patterson Run is mapped on the eastern <br /> portion of the property. <br /> I <br /> 1978/1980 Map <br /> L The one structure and the unimproved road mentioned in the 1914/1916 maps, no longer exist on <br /> the 1978/1980 maps. The intermittent stream mapped on the eastern portion of the property no _ <br /> Llonger exists__ No new structures have been added to a property. High-voltage power lines are <br /> now mapped traveling across the property. A pipeline right of way is now also mapped <br /> traversing the property. Interstate 205 has now been built by this time, to the south of the <br /> property.
