Grant Line Road <br /> L San Joaquin County, California <br /> WKA No. 5475.02 <br /> L November 3,2005 <br /> L <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> f <br /> Purpose and Scone <br /> LA Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment Update was completed for the Mountain House Tuso <br /> Property located at 19300 W. Grant Line Road, Tracy, California(Figure 1). The update is an <br /> IL addendum to the June 3, 2003 Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment(ESA)completed by <br /> Wallace-Kuhl & Associates (WKA) for the subject property. The purpose of the update was to <br /> evaluate the property for evidence of potential soil and groundwater contamination resulting from <br /> current and/or former site activities conducted since the June 2003 ESA. <br /> V <br /> L The ESA update was completed to address comments received from the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD) in their March 3, 2005 letter. The update was <br /> L. performed in accordance with the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM)Standard E <br /> 152 7-00for Environmental Assessments under the following limited scope of work: <br /> L <br /> • an updated field reconnaissance of the property to look for evidence of surface and <br /> 11 potential subsurface sources of contamination, with emphasis on changes in field <br /> 6. conditions relative to our previous site work <br /> L • an updated "windshield survey" performed in the immediate vicinity of the property to <br /> identify businesses that may use or produce hazardous materials <br /> • an updated interview with the person familiar with the site history of the property, including <br /> operation and disposal practices <br /> 6- <br /> 6. <br /> `M <br /> WALLACE•KUHL <br /> Er ASSOCIATES INC. <br />
