Hydrants shall not be placed in dead-end alleys (except where dead-end alleys serve <br /> residential driveways and/or multi-family residential complexes). <br /> 3. Fire department connections shall be placed within one hundred and fifty(150)feet of a fire <br /> hydrant. <br /> 4. All fire apparatus access roads public or private shall have a minimum unobstructed width of <br /> twenty(20)feet and a vertical clearance of thirteen (13)feet six(6) inches. (Planters, <br /> medians, monument strips, and any other decorative area that impedes with the 20 foot <br /> required width shall be approved by the Fire Department before installation.) <br /> 28 <br />
