REVISIONS OF APPROVED ACTIONS FOR USE PERMIT <br /> LM APPLICATION NO.UP-99-15 OF DAVID LUCAS. A Revisions of <br /> Approved Actions Application for an approved winery Use Permit. The <br /> Revisions include the addition of marketing events(4 wine events and 24 dinner <br /> events per year)and changing condition 1(e) from paving to alternative surfacing <br /> material (gravel) in all parking and driveway areas. Located on the east side of <br /> Davis Road, north of Turner Road,west of Lodi. (APN: 015-050-04; Address: <br /> 18196 N. Davis Road, Lodi). <br /> Leanne Mueller, Associate Planner; David Lucas, owner were present for this item. <br /> Ms. Mueller introduced the project. <br /> Mr. Lucas and the Committee discussed the parking area. Mr. Lucas indicated that he maintains his <br /> driveway and parking area,which consists of grass. Mr. Lucas stated that he has not had any problems in <br /> the last few years with gravel or mud entering the roadways. <br /> Ms. Mueller informed Mr. Lucas that the Community Development Department did review the alternate <br /> (grass) and that they are willing to alternate asphalt concrete to chip seal but cannot support grass as a <br /> parking surface. Ms. Mueller told Mr. Lucas that he would need to convince the Planning Commission <br /> that what he is proposing will work. <br /> Mr.Lucas asked if an employee could come out and check the parking and maneuvering areas,so that he <br /> might be an advocate for the winery. Mr. Van Buren told Mr. Lucas that he would need to be his own <br /> advocate. <br /> Ms. Mueller reviewed parking area requirements. Mr. Lucas indicated that he would contact <br /> Ms. Mueller regarding the measurements for the driveway width which needs to be 25'. <br /> Mr. Karam reviewed the Department of Public Works requirements. <br />
