` February 18, 2005
NOA Project Number: E04145A
Should new construction require the development of domestic wells, EHD should be contacted for
direction regarding possible impacts to groundwater from the agricultural history of the vicinity.
I
If construction is to take place in the future in the vicinity of the plugged and abandoned dry hole well
on the subject property, the well should first be located before proceeding.
V The plastic drum in the irrigation ditch along the southeastern property line should be removed from
the site and disposed appropriately; any contents of the drum should be characterized and disposed
Lappropriately.
The tanks north of the subject property should be periodically monitored to insure that no hazardous
substances which could potentially impact the property are disposed at that location.
L
6.0 LIMITATIONS
4 This reportwas compiled as a Surface/Subsurface Contamination Report for the subject property. This
report contains information and data provided to NOA by several sources. NOA in no way warrants
the accuracy or completeness of the information provided to this investigation by those sources.
It should be noted that when a surface/subsurface assessment is completed without sample collection
and quantitative analysis of soil and groundwater beneath the site, as in this study, no statement of
V scientific certainty can be made regarding latent subsurface conditions which may be the result of on-site
or off-site sources. The findings and conclusions of this report are not scientific certainties, but rather,
probabilities based on professional judgement concerning the significance of the data gathered during
L the course of this investigation. NOA is not able to represent that the site or adjoining land contains
no hazardous waste, oil, underground storage tanks,or other latent condition beyond that detected or
observed by NOA during the Surface/Subsurface assessment. The possibility always exists for
L contaminants to migrate through surface water, air, or groundwater.
In this investigation, the ground surface of the subject property was wet from recent rains at the time
L of the site visit;due to this condition, any soil staining which may exist on the property would have been
obscured.
L Our office has not been provided with specific criteria for the development of this report other than
a request to evaluate the property in question for possible problems related to toxic or hazardous agents,
not have we been directed to address any specific questions concerning the site. Should there be a need
L to conduct an investigation into a specific question not addressed in this report, contact our office
immediately regarding your concerns.
L
12
0Ar
