LFR Inc.
perforated intervals) was not available. However, Ms. Ellsaesser added that the owner
was instructed to destroy this well by November 30, 2004 in accordance with San
Joaquin County - Environmental Health Department Protocol. According to
information obtained from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board
website, the address of this well is listed as 9951 Lower Sacramento Road and the Well
No. is 3901286-0001. This well was reported used to supply water to the commercial
park adjacent to the Site.
5.1.15 Septic Systems
No indications of onsite septic systems or cesspools were observed during the Site visit
and according to Mr. Rubino, the site vicinity is currently connected to the municipal
sewer system. Based upon evidence of a historic structure located at the Site, it is
possible that a septic tank and leach field were installed for the former structure located
at the western site boundary; however, no evidence was found. If a septic system is
found during future development activities, it should be removed in accordance with
regulatory guidelines.
5.1.16 Heating/Cooling
LFR observed no heating/cooling systems during the site visit.
5.1.17 Stains or Corrosion
LFR observed no areas of stains or corrosion during the Site visit that would present an
environmental concern to the Site.
5.1.18 Drains and Sumps
LFR did not observed drains or sumps during the Site visit.
5.1.19 Water Intrusion
LFR did not observe buildings on the Site. As a result, water intrusion and/or staining
do not apply.
5.1.20 Radon
According to the U.S. EPA, the Site is located in a Zone 3, an area with expected
radon levels to be less than 2.0 picoCuries/liter (pCi/L) of air. According to the EDR
database report, 3 residential structures were analyzed by the State of California
Department of Health Services for radon gas in the site's zip code (95210). One of the
3 structures reported a level of radon which exceeded the EPA recommended action
level of 4.0 pCi/L of air. The exact level detected was not reported.
