The principal findings are outlined throughout the body of this text <br /> L and are summarized in the conclusion of this report. <br /> This report has been formatted to correspond to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> i► Department's Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report Requirement Checklist,dated July 14, <br /> 2003. <br /> 6' 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> ` 1.1 Description of Site <br /> The subject property is located at 3902 and 3924 Guernsey Avenue, Stockton, California. The <br /> ` property, Assessor's Parcel Numbers 157-140-53 and-17, is located south of Guernsey Avenue, <br /> approximately one-eighth of a mile south of Main Street,and approximately one-eighth of a mile <br /> east of Highway 99. The subject property is made up of one 0.475-acre parcel and one 3.290-acre <br /> parcel,forming a roughly rectangular shape. Mormon Slough defines the southern boundary of <br /> the subject property. The property consists of recently tilled,vacant land. Two dirt roads cross <br /> the site. Surrounding properties are residences, open land, and agricultural land. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site, the <br /> subject property is zoned R-L, low-density residential. <br /> Location maps of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix A. Photographs <br /> of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. <br /> 1.2 Proposed Development <br /> According to a tentative parcel map provided by Wong Engineers of Stockton, the proposed <br /> project will involve dividing the subject property into one 10,350-square foot parcel and one 3.58- 2 <br /> acre parcel.
