Dama, Inc. March 31, 2004
B94301.01 Page 12
• Stained soil was observed within the on-Site garages/workshops located on the
northeastern portion of 1301 W.Joan Avenue property. The staining does not appear
to be significant and no specific area was identified where dumping of waste oil
appears to have occurred. However, the eastem-most garage/workshop appears to
exhibit the most soil staining from what appears to be waste oil. In the opinion of
Twining, these conditions do not appear to be significant enough so that if brought
to the attention of the SJCEHD they would require investigation. However, during
future development, Twining recommends removal of any oil stained soils
encountered in the area of the garages/workshops.
8.0 CLOSING
We have performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment in conformance with the scope and
limitations of ASTM Practice E 1527-00 of the Site.
