(EDR) for the years 1957, <br /> 1982, and 1993 for information regarding historical site uses. In addition, EDR was contracted to <br /> provide a report detailing a search of local, State, and Federal databases for sites within radii <br /> prescribed in ASTM Standard El 527-00 (Phase I Environmental Site Assessment). <br /> 2.0 PROPERTY DESCRIPTION <br /> 2.1 Site Description <br /> The subject property is located in the southeastern 1/4 of the northeastern '/4 of Section 22, Township 2 <br /> " South, Range 4 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, in San Joaquin County, California. The <br /> property resides in an area of rural residential use. The legal description of the parcel is APN# 209- <br /> 130-29. The parcel is a pan-shaped parcel, which includes a narrow panhandle that extends <br /> ti approximately 300 feet eastward from the main portion of the parcel to Hansen Road. The <br /> westemmost boundary of the parcel sits approximately 1,000 feet west of Hansen Road. A copy of an <br /> aerial photograph showing the approximate boundaries of the parcel is included in Attachment 1. <br /> V <br /> Two structures are located on the property, a private residence in the northeast comer of the parcel (not <br /> counting the panhandle) and a horse stable immediately west of the residence. In addition, an <br /> h.. abandoned chicken coop is located in the open land southwest of the residence. The residence/horse <br /> stable "compound" occupies approximately 1.5 acres, while the remainder of the parcel is comprised <br /> of open land. The residence is a two-story,ranch-style house with stucco finish and tile roof, the horse <br /> stable is a wooden structure, and the abandoned chicken coop is finished to match the residence. A <br /> domestic supply well is located southeast of the residence, finished on a concrete pad with a small <br /> pressure tank and in-line water filter. Sewage treatment is via a septic system,the location of which is <br /> not apparent. Copies of photographs taken during the site inspection are included in Attachment 2. <br /> The current owners acquired the property in 2001. Based upon review of aerial photographs, the C2, �7 <br /> residence was built prior to 1982. The 1957 and 1970s aerial photographs show the area planted to l� <br /> row crops and orchards. The undeveloped portion of the parcel appears to have retrained undeveloped <br /> from at least 1982 to the present. Copies of the EDR Aerial Photography Print Report is included in <br /> Attachment 3. <br /> 2.2 Physical Setting <br /> The site is situated on relatively flat ground that slopes gently downward toward the northeast. The <br /> ground surface elevation sits between approximately 97 and 103 feet above mean sea level. A copy of <br /> a partial topographic map (USGS 7 '/2 Minute Quadrangle, Midway, California) is included in <br /> Attachment 1. No surface water bodies are located within the property boundaries, although a dry, <br /> _ unlined surface drainage borders the property on the west. <br /> According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's "Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, California," <br /> soil units at the property include Capay clay (map symbol 118). A description of soil, as well as the <br /> y 1970s aerial photograph of the area, excerpted from the USDA Soil Survey report, is included in <br /> Attachment 4.
