The proposed future address of the
_ dog kennel is 26654 Hansen Road, Tracy, California.
The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's (EHD) Soil Suitability Study Requirements
Checklist, dated September 25, 2007.
1.0 INTRODUCTION & PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether site soils are suitable for
_ septic system usage. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section 9-
1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work
included conducting percolation tests that meet absorption rates as specified by San Joaquin
County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD). A review of
published soil information, geologic maps, and groundwater information was also performed.
1.1 Site Description
The site is located at 26666 Hansen Road in Tracy, San Joaquin County, California. The site
consists of an approximately 11.45 acre parcel (APN 209-230-27) improved with a 2,280 sq. ft.
manufactured home and detached garage located at the southeast corner of the site. Other site
improvements include a gravel loop driveway extending north into the property from Hansen
Road. At the time of our investigation the proposed building site was in the first phase of
construction, with an office and up to ten kennels already built. The remaining proposed
building area consisted of cleared and graded land. The Union Pacific Railroad abuts the site to
the north followed by agricultural land and the Delta-Mendota Canal. The properties to the
adjoining east consist of agricultural land. A gravel access road abuts the site to the south
©2015 Neil O.Anderson&Associates,Inc.A Terracon Company
