k. The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance requirements <br /> will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to <br /> the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) The proposed use will change the occupancy from an M-3 AG building <br /> occupancy to a B-2/1-1-4 occupancy (U.B.C. Section 502). The structure must be <br /> brought into compliance with all current code provisions, including structural, <br /> plumbing, mechanical, electrical, energy, and disabled access requirements. <br /> (2) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements. (C.C.R., <br /> Title 24) <br /> (3) The proposed project is located within an expansive soil area where a <br /> conventional foundation may not be suitable. Therefore, an engineer is required <br /> to evaluate the foundation design. <br /> I. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> (1) Provide parking for the physically disabled. The spaces shall be located as close <br /> as possible to the primary entrance. (C.C.R., Title 24) <br /> (2) Provide identification signs for the parking spaces, including the'tow away' sign, <br /> at each entrance or visible from each space. (C.C.R., Title 24) <br /> (3) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch per foot. (C.C.R., Title 24) <br /> 2. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS: <br /> (See the attached memo from Public Works dated January 28, 1994.) <br /> 3. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES: <br /> (See the attached memo from Public Health dated January 14, 1994.) <br /> 4. STATE DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME: <br /> a. In carrying out the operations of the project, the applicant shall take no action that <br /> violates the provisions of the California Endangered Species Act or any other laws or <br /> regulations pertaining to the protection of the San Joaquin Kit Fox. Compliance with said <br /> laws shall be the sole responsibility of the applicant, and the applicant agrees to <br /> indemnify, defend, and hold the County harmless from and against any claim or action <br /> by affected State agencies as to the project's compliance with said laws. <br /> 5. STATE DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES: <br /> a.
