One large warehouse already exists on
the site. The property consists of a single parcel and is approximately 7.76 acres in size. This soil
suitability study was completed for the San Joaquin County Community Development and
Environmental Health Department requirements. A site plan was provided to our office by Dan
Rhoades which indicates the site and locations of the proposed and existing structures and septic
systems.
The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use
with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section
9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included
conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin
County,Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD).
In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic
maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a
septic system.
The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible,
the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist'dated July 14, 2003.
LODI ■ SACRAMENTO ■ MODESTO
ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION 902 Industria]Way,Lodi,Califomia 95240 ■209.367.3701 ■ 209.369.4228 ■w .noandmonxom
r
