Iwamiya, Senior Civil Engineer <br /> Public Services Division <br /> SUBJECT: SA-94-56 A SITE APPROVAL APPLICATION TO CONSTRUCT A <br /> 17, 600 SQUARE FOOT TOMATO DEGREENING BUILDING AT AN EXISTING <br /> PACKING FACILITY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF HARDING WAY, WEST <br /> OF GOLDEN GATE AVENUE. (DISTRICT 1) . <br /> APPLICANT: Western Tomato, Inc. APN: 143-100-20 <br /> INFORMATION: <br /> The site is not located within a Federal Flood Insurance Administration <br /> Designated Flood Hazard Area. In addition, the existing San Joaquin County <br /> and City of Stockton Flood Insurance Studies, which delineates flood risks, <br /> floodplains, and floodway areas, are currently being reevaluated. The <br /> reevaluation is being conducted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, <br /> Region IX, Building 105, Presidio of San Francisco, California 94219, <br /> telephone (415) 923-7186 . The reevaluation may delineate additional flood <br /> risks . The official flood maps are available for review at the Department <br /> of Public Works, 1810 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton. These flood maps <br /> will be updated when the reevaluation process is completed. <br /> Harding Way has an existing right-of-way width of 60 feet and a planned <br /> right-of-way width of 60 feet . <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS : <br /> 1 . The frontage improvements for Harding Way shall be constructed in <br /> conformance with the standards for one-half of a 60-foot right-of-way <br /> Local Commercial Street. The construction of the frontage <br /> improvements will be deferred upon execution by the owner of a <br /> Deferred Frontage and Roadway Improvement Agreement or a Secured <br /> Deferred Frontage and Roadway Improvement Agreement with a deposit <br /> equivalent to their estimated construction costs prior to approval of <br /> the Improvement Plan. A $260 . 00 fee currently is required for <br /> processing per Development Title Table 9-240 . 2 in addition to a copy <br /> of the Grant Deed and an estimate for the required frontage <br /> improvements . The estimate and legal description shall be prepared by <br /> a Registered Civil Engineer with a typical section drawing on a form <br /> to be supplied by the Department of Public Works and submitted to the <br /> Department of Public Works for approval . As an option, the Department <br /> of Public Works will prepare the drawing and estimate for an <br /> additional fee of $115 . 00 . <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1150 .2) <br />
