Hieb Revocable Trust Property Page 8 of 10 Our Project Number: E07202A January 10, 2008 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from past uses of the site, except for the following: • Agricultural chemicals have been applied to the subject property. • Above ground storage tanks were used on the property. • The property was used as a dairy in the 1950s • A Labor camp was located on the property. • Buildings date back prior to the 1970s. 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the site, except for the following: • Agricultural chemicals continue to be applied on the property. • A pile of 15 tires was observed on the property. • An empty above ground storage tank remains on the property. 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from past uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: • Surrounding properties have been used for agriculture in the past; agricultural chemicals may have been applied to these properties. 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: • Surrounding properties are used for agriculture; agricultural chemicals may be applied to these properties. 4.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES Agricultural chemical residues may remain on the property. No evidence was found, however, to indicate that the chemicals were applied inappropriately. The above-ground storage tank is not within a secondary containment area. Any and all leaks could potentially impact the soil.
