March 3, 2005 NOA Project Number: E04155A ✓.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE /.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage Currently, there is a septic system on the property which serves the mobile home. During the conversation with Mr. Keith Tankersley (personal communication January 31, 2005), he indicated �i that there is a mobile home on the Site with a septic system and a well. Mr. Tankersley said that recently he had to dig 2R the lines because of root problems, d em. No septic permits were found for the Site during file review at EHD on January 6, 2005. 3.2 On-Site Septic Permit History �a No septic permits were found for the Site during file review at EHD on January 6, 2005. /-�3.3 On-Site Septic Repair Permit History No septic repair permits were found for the Site during file review at EHD on Januar,L, 2QQ5. /3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the Site, our office reviewed -� a 1993 aerial photograph of the subject property available from Microsoft Terraserver. We counted the building clusters within one square mile of the Site, and made the assumption that each building + cluster has one septic system. Using this method,we determined that there are a minimum of 16 IJ septic system per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the Site. The general use of the vicinity is agricultural land. There are very few residences in the area. 3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity The following septic system permits were found for the vicinity of the Site during file review at EHD on January 6, 2005: - 3 Table 1.
