The Mountain House Community Services District is responsible for <br /> determining the boundaries of the 200-year flood hazard zone and ensuring the necessary <br /> improvements are made to provide 200-year protection. <br /> As requested by the commenter,the following bullet is added to page 3-22 under"Approvals Required for <br /> the Project”to address the need for an encroachment permit for all work within 15 feet of the levee toe of <br /> Old River. <br /> Central Valley Flood Protection Board(encroachment permit for work within 15 feet of the Old <br /> River levee toe). <br /> As requested by the commenter,the following two text changes are made to clarify the datum used in the <br /> FEMA flood studies. <br /> On page 5-108: <br /> Flood Protection of Old River <br /> Engineered fill would be used to raise all building pads above the 100-year FEMA flood hazard <br /> zone.
