The property is approximately 135 to 165 feet above mean sea level in an area with a slight grade down to the west. Surrounding properties ---� are also shown to be vacant or agricultural land and orchard. This map is included as Plate 4 in Appendix 1. 3.0 HISTORICAL RESEARCH 3.1 Aerial Photo ra hs Live Oak reviewed aerial photographs of the Site provided by the San Joaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California. The available photographs were dated 1937, 1952, 1963, 1975, and 1983. Three additional photographs, dated October 1998, May 2004, and September 2008, were obtained from the San Joaquin County District Viewer. In the 1937 photo, the Site appears to be dry farmed or grazing land. Two small streams are apparent on the Site, one at the north and one at the south. A field road can be seen crossing Parcel -04. The adjoining properties also appear to be dry farmed or pasture land. Southern Pacific Railroad tracks can be seen to the southwest of the Site. In the 1952 photo, the southern stream on the Site has been channeled into a canal. It appears that a portion of the Site is being used for crops or irrigated pasture. A pond can be seen to the east of the Site. No other significant changes are apparent. In the 1963 photo, additional area of the Site is being used for crops or irrigated pasture. It appears that the southwest corner of the Site may be a rice field. A second pond can be seen to the east. No other significant changes are apparent. In the 1975 photo, a new rural residence is apparent to the west of the Site. No other significant changes are apparent. LOGE1012 Page 2
