Soil Suitability Study** APN: 207-290-10** Parcel 1=10.08 Acres Parcel 2, 3 &4=
14108 Henry Road, Oakdale CA, 95361 *** 10.00 Acres, 40.08 Acres Total
A binder entitled"Underground Tank Site Mitigation Database List"also available
in the Environmental Health Department's office was consulted and no underground tanks
were listed in the binder for the subject property.
According to the aforementioned maps DBCP,Nitrates and underground tanks do
not appear to be contamination contributors on the subject property.
Recommendations: Mike Huggins,Representative of the Environmental Health
Department, has determined that the shallow and deep percolation test results on Parcels 3
and 4 are acceptable for installing septic systems consisting of leach lines with pits at their
ends. The number of lines and pits are to be double the amount normally installed for the
number of bedrooms to be constructed. Caution should also be exercised in locating these
septic systems in the same places where the shallow percolation test were conducted on
Parcels 3 and 4 as shown on the attached"Percolation Test Hole Locations Map". Also the
San Joaquin County Environmental Department will need to be consulted to establish the
appropriate elevation of the sewage outlet connection on any future house constructed at
any future time.
Further and additional percolation testing will required in the future on Parcels 1
and 2 to locate soil suitable to accommodate septic systems within the parcel boundaries.
Ensineer's Statement: Septic systems of the types proposed can be installed and their
construction is not expected to impact groundwater or cause other health hazards.
Walter 5 Curtis
Civil Engineer
C.E. # 11584
Attachments: "Tentative Parcel Map" (1)
"Percolation Test Hole Location Map"(1)
"Percolation Test Detail Sheet(4)
Gene Benedix, 30407 Grooms Road, Oakdale CA 95361 7
